I have my x310 set up with 3 of my networked machines. I used the HP WHS disk to set them all up, and all work fine: a laptop (XP), a workstation (XP) and a larger workstation (XP 64-bit). On the laptop, in addition to the regular access via WHS, I also see the Data Vault folders listed in my Network Places list, and I can drop files into them (manually) if I want to. On the desktop running XP (32-bit), none of the Data Vault folders appear in the Network Places list. On the larger worksttion (XP 64-bit), I also do not see any of the Data Vault fodlers. I have another workstation (XP 32-bit) that I have not connected to WHS. On this machine, I also see the Data Vault's folders! Can anyone explain this? I want to see the Data Vault fodlers on ALL of my networked machines so that I can make extra backup copies of important files on the fly. TIA for your collective insight!
